THE CARS
PJ Peters and his PJR Motorsports race team will field two nearly identical race cars with current plans calling for the team to use No. 29. The SK Modified car is based on a chassis designed and fabricated by Chassis Dynamics in Oxford, Connecticut with power coming from a 358 cubic inch Chevrolet racing engine prepared by Pettit Racing Engines in New Milford, Connecticut. The Tour Type Modified race car is based on a chassis fabricated by GRE-6 Motorsports in South Windsor, Connecticut. Power for the Tour Modified car comes from a 358 cubic inch Ford V-8 racing engine prepared by PT Engineering. Not only does the fact that PJR Motorsports has two race cars at the ready assure sponsors that the team will make every scheduled race, but also guarantees marketing partners that a car will always be available for those all important sponsor and public appearances. 
THE TRACKS AND SERIES
Stafford Springs Motor Speedway, PJR Motorsports' home track, is a semi-banked half mile paved oval located in Stafford Springs, Connecticut. Stafford Springs Motor Speedway is a NASCAR Whelen All American Series sanctioned track with NASCAR weekly racing every Friday night from May through September. This track is known as the home of drivers such as Monster Energy Cup star Ryan Preece and past Daytona 500 winner Geoff Bodine. PJ Peters also has an aggressive traveling Tour Type Modified schedule set for 2020 which will take him, and your company as a sponsor, to various speedways in New England and beyond from April through October. Competition is planned at the Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park and the Waterford Speedbowl, both in Connecticut, the Seekonk Speedway in Massachusetts and the Star Speedway, Monadnock Speedway and the Lee USA Speedway, all in New Hampshire! |
